Tanzania Safari · 3 Days · Private & Tailor-Made
3-Day Ndutu Calving Season Safari
Witness thousands of wildebeest giving birth on the open Ndutu plains — then experience Tarangire's elephant herds and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Every day is fully private — your guide, your pace, your vehicle.
Tarangire National Park — Elephants & Baobabs
Tarangire NPYour adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Arusha and an early drive to Tarangire National Park — home to some of Africa's largest elephant herds and iconic thousand-year-old baobab trees. Spend the day on an immersive game drive spotting lions, zebras, giraffes, ostriches, and extraordinary birdlife as the Tarangire River draws wildlife from across the park. End the day with dinner and overnight at the Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu, a peaceful highland retreat surrounded by coffee and wheat farms.
Ndutu — The Great Migration Calving Season
Ndutu / SerengetiToday is the centrepiece of the safari. An early morning game drive takes you into the Ndutu area of the Southern Serengeti, where from January to March, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest flood the short-grass plains to give birth. Witnessing a birth — and the predator drama that follows — is one of the most visceral wildlife encounters on Earth. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards move through dense herds in concentrated numbers rarely seen elsewhere. Your guide will track the migration closely, positioning you for the best sightings. You may even take a bush lunch among the herds. Overnight at Sero Tented Camp inside the Serengeti ecosystem.
Ngorongoro Crater — The World's Greatest Wildlife Arena
Ngorongoro CraterThe final day descends into the Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. Its 260 sq km floor is home to approximately 25,000 animals in a self-contained ecosystem: black rhino, dense lion prides, vast wildebeest and zebra herds, hippos in the lakes, flamingos on the soda flats, and buffalos everywhere. Game viewing here is exceptional in any season, with wildlife density unmatched anywhere in Africa. In the late afternoon you'll drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for your onward connections.
