Safari Itinerary
ARRIVAL – ARUSHA
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Mujuni African Adventures
representative holding a sign with your name. You will be transferred to your Arusha
accommodation, where you can relax and prepare for your unforgettable safari adventure.
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for its
ancient baobab trees, vast savannahs, and the largest elephant population outside the
Serengeti. Optionally, you can begin the day with a walking safari for a more intimate
experience of the park's rich flora and fauna.
NGORONGORO CRATER – THEN TRANSFER TO CENTRAL SERENGETI
Today, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a once-in-a-lifetime game drive. Home to
black rhinos, lions, hyenas, and more, the crater is one of Africa’s top wildlife-viewing
destinations. In the afternoon, begin your scenic transfer through the Ngorongoro Highlands
to Central Serengeti, where you'll spend the night.
CENTRAL SERENGETI – THEN TRANSFER TO NORTH SERENGETI
Start your morning with a game drive in Central Serengeti before heading north, following
the migration trail. Northern Serengeti offers one of the best opportunities to witness river
crossings during the Great Migration. Enjoy an evening game drive before settling in for the
night.
FULL DAY IN NORTH SERENGETI – THEN RETURN TO CENTRAL SERENGETI
Spend the day exploring the Northern Serengeti, tracking the Great Migration and searching
for big cats and river crossings along the Mara River. In the late afternoon, drive back to
Central Serengeti for an overnight stay.
CENTRAL SERENGETI – HALF DAY GAME DRIVE – DRIVE TO ARUSHA
Enjoy a half-day morning game drive in Central Serengeti before beginning your journey
back to Arusha. Arrive in the evening and relax at your hotel as you prepare for your
departure the following day.
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule,
you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. Thank you for traveling with Mujuni
