CALVING SEASON SAFARI

There's a two-week window each year when half a million wildebeest calves hit the ground within days of each other. And every predator in the ecosystem shows up. This itinerary is built around that window, not around a standard migration route that happens to mention it.

Best Time: January – March
Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights

From $1,800/person

GREAT MIGRATION SAFARI

The Mara River crossings are the sighting that pulls more travelers to Tanzania than anything else. This route is built specifically around the crossing window. Two full days positioned at the river, not a single detour past it.

Best Time: July – October
Duration: 5 Days / 4 Nights

A lion pride in serengeti

From $1,800/person

BIG 5 HONEYMOON SAFARI

Two full days in central Serengeti's lion and leopard territory, then a descent into Ngorongoro Crater for the black rhino. Private vehicle, private guide, and a team that has been making honeymoons feel like exactly that since 2019.

Best Time: June – October, Dec - Feb
Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights

Safari-vehicle-family afrika game drive.

From $1,800/person

FAMILY SAFARI

A week is enough time to actually settle into Tanzania instead of racing through it. Which matters when you're traveling with kids. Every camp on this route is chosen for how well it works for families, not just proximity to game.

Best Time: June – October
Duration: 7 Days / 6 Nights

What separates a good safari from one you talk about for years.

Tanzania has hundreds of operators. Most of them will show you the same parks, in the same sequence, in the same vehicle. Here's what's different about how we operate.

    Your vehicle. Your pace

Every Mujuni safari runs in a private 4x4 with a dedicated guide. If a leopard and her cubs are worth another hour, you stay. No shared schedules. No other group's priorities competing with yours.

    We remember why you came

Honeymoon? The lodge knows before you arrive. Anniversary? The camp has been briefed. Traveling with kids? The guide adjusts the pace without being asked. We plan the logistics. We also pay attention to what the trip actually means to you.

Guides who know the terrain by name

Micky knows where the leopards den in the Seronera kopjes. Silas tracked a lion pride eating a fresh kill and positioned the vehicle before the dust settled. Our guides are not drivers with a script — they are naturalists who have spent years reading this specific ecosystem. You will notice the difference within the first hour.

    Nickson picks up the phone

Most operators hand you off after booking. Nickson personally oversees every safari we run. You have his number. He responds within minutes. When a family's flight was delayed mid-trip, he rebuilt the itinerary before they landed. That kind of availability is not standard. With us, it is.

From first message to first game drive, here's how your safari comes together

You tell us about your trip

Who's coming, when, and what you're hoping to see. No forms with thirty fields. Just a conversation.

We plan and refine together

Nickson designs the route, selects the camps, and assigns the right guide. Dates, pacing, special requests, dietary needs, milestone moments — Nickson and Anneth handle it directly until you have a full itinerary you're happy with. Nothing gets handed to a generic operations team.

You arrive. Everything is already waiting

Your driver is at arrivals. The lodge is briefed. The guide knows your name. From this point, you don't manage anything. You just experience it.

Incredible- don’t hesitate to book!! We had an absolutely incredible time thanks to Mujuni African Adventures! Everything was seamless and Anneth’s response time to our queries was brilliant. We had a 6 day tour which included a 3 day safari (absolutely amazing - private safari jeep), an incredible day visiting a coffee plantation and beautiful waterfall, and a guided city tours. Our guide Micky was also fantastic- can’t recommend him and the firm highly enough. Nickson and his team were very flexible and altered our itinerary slightly to fit our requirements and travel times- we even got a tour of Arusha on the last day before our flight as the flight was not until later in the afternoon. Very reasonable prices too- if you are thinking of booking, do it with these guys, 100% recommend!! If you have the pleasure of having Micky as your guide, check to see if he’s “sure sure?” 😂 Thanks for the best holiday!!

Safari 2 days tarangire and crater Ngorongoro Couple safari with an 11 year old. Everything was very well organized from the day of our Reservation in France until our arrival in Arusha. A jeep was waiting for us and it was off to a dream safari. Our Guide alias "petit" speaks French well and was kind during these days of safari. We were able to see all the animals of the savannah. Lionesses, lions, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, giraffes etc...and even a black rhinoceros! We would like to thank Mujuni African Adventures for its professionalism and organization. Thank you thank you

100/100 Recommend Mujuni Safaris We used Mujuni Safari for a three day safari in the beginning of July. Nickson was an amazing planner, and Mikey was the best driver and guide we could have asked for. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend asking for Mikey to be your guide. He has a seemingly unlimited knowledge about the area and its animals and history. I asked Nickson to set us up for as luxurious as possible within our budget and he exceeded expectations. We stayed at the MaweMawe lodge in Manyara for two nights and the Gran Melia in Arusha the last night. These are top tier accommodations and Nickson secured everything with no issues at all. Mikey picked us up on time and drove us anywhere and everywhere we wanted to go on the way. I suggest the three day safari, as the three main national parks, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Tangiere all offer a different environment which lends itself to seeing more animals. Once again, highly recommend Mujuni Safari.

Absolute best safari experience thanks to Mujuni African Adventures I 10000% recommend Mujuni African Adventures to anyone who wants an incredible experience and to be treated like family. I booked a several day safari in Tanzania with Mujuni African Adventures. I had no clue which tour group to use and reached out to a bunch of providers. Immediately, Mujuni African Adventures stood out as the owner, Nickson, responded minutes after my request was made. Not only did he immediately provide me detailed information on itinerary, pricing, etc. but he then followed up the email with a whatsapp message providing his contact info and services to support any questions I had. Nickson ALWAYS responded within 10 minutes or less of me reaching out. He worked with me to customize the trip to make it work for the number of people and budget that we had. Furthermore, he was extremely patient when plans kept on changing and never pushed for me to officially book and provide a deposit. Its clear that the customer experience is 100% top of mind and that he treats customers like family. Furthermore, once in Africa, we had issues with flight delays. While this could have been extremely stressful, I messaged Nickson letting him know of the delays and he seamlessly came up with a new plan to adjust the itinerary based on the changes. The actual tour guide assigned to our group was Mickey and he was fantastic. He was extremely charismatic, had so much knowledge of the area and the animals, and was very fun to travel with.

Amazing Safari, Better Guides Mujuni was an amazing safari tour with incredible guides, I cannot recommend them enough. Very flexible when our group had flight problems. Very fun banter and vibes which is important when you’re in the safari car all day. My group absolutely loved it.

Amazing experience with Mujuni! Niki and Ali went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable safari. We had some challenges with our dates getting mixed up and they sorted it out immediately and made sure we were still able to have a great experience and see everything that was planned. I was blown away by the amount of care they put into their work! If possible I would recommend booking far in advance to secure accommodation closest to the parks to reduce your driving time :) Otherwise everything else was 10/10

One of the best experiences with travel company that i had. Since from the start Mujuni was really active on WhatsApp and provided every possible information that i needed or asked myself. Our private guide (Morgan) told us a lot of informations about Safaris, animals and himself. Me and my girlfriend went for 3days and it was definetely worth it. We have a LOT of beautiful moments that we will remember rest of our lives. Thank you once more for everything. To summ it up 10/10 experience that you will remember rest of your life.
