Founded in Arusha. Still close to every trip
Mujuni African Adventures is a founder-led Tanzanian tour operator specialising in private safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs, and tailor-made journeys. We have grown since Nickson founded the company in 2019, but one thing has remained non-negotiable: growth should never put distance between the traveller and the people responsible for their trip.
The guides know who they are meeting. The operations team knows what has been promised. And when something changes, there is someone close enough to the trip to act.

How Mujuni began
Mujuni African Adventures is built around a straightforward operating principle: pay attention to the individual trip.
The difference between a safari that merely follows an itinerary and one that stays with you often comes down to small decisions — a guide staying longer because a sighting is still unfolding, an itinerary rearranged because a flight was delayed, a lodge briefed about a honeymoon before the guests arrive, a family given enough time to enjoy the day instead of being hurried through a schedule. None of those things are spectacular business ideas. They are simply what happens when the people responsible for a trip remain close enough to care about its details. That is still how Mujuni operates today.
The people behind your trip

MICKY (front): Senior Safari Guide
Micky is the guide guests ask for by name. He knows where leopards den in the Seronera kopjes, which termite mounds cheetahs use on the southern plains, and when a herd is about to move. He reads what is happening around the vehicle: when to wait, when to change direction, and when another twenty minutes is the better decision.

ANNETH & MORGAN: Spanish-Speaking Guides
Anneth co-founded Mujuni and runs much of the operation behind the scenes, while still joining guests in the field when needed. Morgan is part of the guiding team, helping Spanish-speaking travellers experience Tanzania without language getting in the way. Together, they keep the same personal attention Mujuni is known for.

SOLOMON (left): Kilimanjaro Head Guide
Solomon leads Mujuni’s Kilimanjaro climbs, bringing the calm judgement and steady pacing that matter on the mountain. Guests have also singled him out personally for the experience he creates along the way.

PETIT (right): French-Speaking Safari Guide
Petit guides French-speaking guests through Tanzania without the language barrier getting in the way. Guests have specifically praised his French and his kindness in the field..
And many more people behind them
No safari or Kilimanjaro climb is delivered by four people. Mujuni's wider team includes safari guides, mountain guides, porters, cooks, drivers, and coordinators working before and during each journey. Some guests will spend days with one of them. Others may never meet the person who solved a logistical problem before it reached them. Both are part of the same trip.
